Video of Regime Police Running Over a Protester

Yesterday we posted a video of a man on the ground, yelling in anguish about witnessing a police car run people over. This may or may not be video of the actual incident but it is proof of the viciousness of the so-called anti-riot police on Ashura, December 27, during the protests on that day. This video clearly shows a police vehicle running a protester over. If it is the same incident as the one reported in the video we posted yesterday by the eye-witness on the ground, then the protester was killed:

    If the Iranian people, any side, protestors OR police, than the reporting should be as accurate as possible.

    The video here does NOT show a protestor being run over. What it DOES show is a person laying in the street (ALREADY “LAYING” in the street) than being run over.

    The police car does NOT appear to even touch the protestor.

    Yet the blog site accuses the police of running people over as if they killed them. That is not clear at all in the video.

    You critisize CNN and the Iranian press for not being true, yet you perpetuate false and inaccurate journalism yourselves.

    Susan, I find it odd that you think (at least it appears to be implicit from your comment) that someone lying in the middle of the street is an ordinary thing. And actually the video *clearly* does show the person being run over by the vehicle.

    There is also corroborating video showing eye-witnesses clearly stating they witnessed the police running people over and yes, killing them. You can see this in our Ashura live-blog post from December 27.

    The fact you deny what is clearly visible — a person being run-over by a police vehicle — and the fact that two weeks after this incident you are the only person that has accused us of ‘perpetuating false info’, suggests to me that you don’t have the slightest clue what you’re talking about. I suggest you look into it further if you really care about the matter. We are not the only site that has reported on this. In fact the mainstream media has done the same, including CNN.
