A bout 9 months ago Iran fell into turmoil after the presidential elections were rigged in favor of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Millions of Iranians protested this in the streets, including many students from Iran’s universities.

Numerous reports came in during those heady days of attacks on Iranian University dorms by the dreaded regime goons including plainclothed Basij militia forces, as well as regime special forces from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), pro-government vigilantes and other nefarious groups. The following video that has recently surfaced from June 15 shows some of what happened. You can see the dreaded goons (sometimes referred to by various observers as Storm Troopers because of their body armor) clashing with students.

The incredible thing for me was that so many Iranians worldwide took the time to care about us despite the thousands of other political prisoners they have to worry about. “I’m an Iranian boy ashamed for what our government did to three American hikers,” another message on Facebook says. “I want you to know Iranian people are with you and against their own government. Iran’s regime is not chosen by Iranian people. They kill and torture us and we are all in a very big prison named Iran.”
